Should we intervene in Cote D'Ivoire?

Hundreds, now thousands of people being killed by a tyrannical, illegitimate leader (he lost the election last year and refuses to step down). According to the Obama doctrine we should be intervening in a humanitarian cause. One reason given for Clinton not intervening in Rwanda was that he didn't want the image of a white president having black people killed. That is a non-issue here. I expect the lefties must support this or be labeled hypocritical.
