Why do some providers not want to be fingered?

I've heard from 'a friend' that some of the provider's he's had sex with would have a problem with fingers in the vagina. These same providers would have no problem with his penis, which is many times larger.

This never made any sense : a penis can have all kinds of STIs, not to mention that the semen causes pregnancy. A finger is smaller, gentler, and it helps my friend get in the mood because he likes feeling a hot, wet vagina in a way that he can't feel with his penis strangled in latex.

He wonders why that is. The providers are fine with a penis rammed in there over and over, but they don't like a gentle finger? How could that be? It's kind of like the rumored providers who won't kiss.
Damn,I must be a freak then, because I LOVE making out and getting fingered. Most of the time I can just handle one, gotta get warmed up for the 2nd finger, though.
Um...because the penis doesn't have sharp little things called nails on it and we cover him up before we let him in ...

Fingering is fine, but the bloke must have freshly cut nails (as that can hurt if they aren't), and wash his hands in my bathroom with anti-bacterial soap first!

But that's just me.

Penises don't have nails and men watch entirely too much porn.

Although most women probably LOVE to be played with, many will not only have sharp nails and dirty hands like mentioned above, but they will start ATTACKING the clit and fingering us without ANY lube.

It HURTS!!!

Also, we're sensitive. Grinding a finger on the clit isn't the way for many to enjoy sexual activity. Also, if a woman hasn't even begun to get excited and a man shoves two dry fingers up her pussy, then she's going to say stop and quit it at best. Get pissed off or get tears in her eyes (it has happened to me) as another reaction.

Otherwise, it can be just a wonderful activity.

Another reason might be because he could very easily have a small cut on his finger that she can't see and isn't comfortable taking a chance finding out the hard way he did. Also is it every lady he has seen or just one. If it's every woman then maybe it's him and not them...

As others pointed out fingers have nails; they are also nubbly, rough and often calloused in a way penises never are. Plus, your imaginary "gentle" finger is so rare as to be nonexistent; while penises behave themselves indoors by standing rigidly erect, most men tend to let their fingers run wild like unruly children, wriggling them about madly as though they were trying to stretch out the inside of the vagina.

Your so-called "gentle" fingers are anything but; they're often acutely painful in a way penises aren't.
Dayum!! And here I was planning a surgery to re-route my vas deferens from my groin to the tip of my fore finger.

It's not really alegebra. It's the same principle as you not wanting us to use teeth during a BJ. Let's be logical here, huh?

Two words: Dirty hands. The penis is covered when it goes in. The fingers are not, and thus I want them nice and freshly washed. If you've not washed your hands and I'm squirming away from your fingers, it's because I don't know WHAT you have been touching with your hands and so they are not going near my sensitive lady bits. Dirty hands can carry bacteria, and bacteria being introduced to those areas can cause UTIs, which not only cost me money to take care of but cost me time from work... not to mention the often excruciating pain of having one.

Also, if your fingers have gone anywhere near my ass, they aren't going back inside of me without being washed again. I'm surprised by how many don't get this and don't understand why I'm not letting their fingers back inside THERE after being THERE.

Elisabeth said it nicely too. Pressing a finger hard against the clit and rubbing it vigorously does nothing for me but cause pain, as does shoving dry fingers inside.

@Expresso- I quite enjoy being fingered by a man with clean hands and very short nails who knows what he's doing.

I have a question on this subject.

Ladies I know that fingernails can hurt. That's not hard to understand. Obviously though it's not so much the fingernails as much as it is how the fingernails are prepped before doing so. Obviously that is true since most women are able to finger themselves with long fingernails. The difference is most guys don't care for filing their nails smooth or to make sure there are no jagged edges, hang nails, ect. ect...

Am I wrong?
