Messing up my trip to Huntsville. What is it about the south in that one snow flake or rain will shut down all of life??
I learned a darn expensive lesson.
No one hobbies in the rain.
Might be awhile before I can make this trip again.

I always thought a rainy day was the best time for indoor fun! Glad to hear you're making lemonade out of those lemons and nonexistent rainwater, G

I swear I don't know what has happen to people the past few years. You let 1 dark cloud pop up in the sky and you got James Spann doing his 24x7 weather shtick and everyone running scared, hiding, and closing everything down.
Yeah I get it we have some bad weather occasionally, but that doesn't mean it's the end of the bloody world.
One friend of mine spent a ton of money converting a corner of his basement into a panic room. Has shelves full of bottled water, batteries, canned food, and light bulbs. I figure he's probably been in that room since Monday.
Like my Granny said, "If a storm is going to get you it don't matter where you are, it's going to get you. Don't matter if you're in the bed, a chair, or hiding scared in the root cellar, it will get you if it's supposed to."
