I know that most of you think that Indiana Jones cornered the market on hating those guys, but Millett really took that shit to a whole new level. dropped out of high school as a junior to go enlist in the Army and help the world teach Der Führer that fucking with freedom and democracy was like the political equivalent of sending up a giant Bat-Signal with the words "Please Come Kick My Ass" engraved on there instead of a bat....

I'm gonna tell ya osd..I hang out with pretty incredible people that totally
have inspired me to learn about history..Regardless who, what ,and when..
They showed me there is more to history than just the same old boring stuff....they have shown me it's action, adventure, and crazyness!!!!
And there are freakin real life hero's!!

Last Monday, April 25, was ANZAC Day – a day we here in the United States all know and love and celebrate by running around in the streets and drinking beer brewed to look like the Union Jack. And, as we here in the U.S. all learn dating back to elementary school, ANZAC stands for the Australian/New Zealand Annual Conference, a magical happy time when delegates and badasses and other qualified people from the British Commonwealth nations of Oceana all get together to talk about terribly important things of mutual relevance, world-changing ideas like crippling rugby injuries and the proper care and maintenance of indigenous dingo populations. So, in honor of my good friends on the opposite side of the world, I've chosen to observe ANZAC Day (a full four days after everybody else has already forgotten about it) by dedicating this week's article to the most widely-revered war hero in the prestigious badass history of Dark Continent – World War I Victoria Cross recipient Albert Jacka, the first Australian to ever be awarded the United Kingdom's highest award for military asskicking in a live-fire situation.

And, since the details behind this utterly hardcore attack on the planet's most notorious terrorist might never fully be made available to the public, I figure it's about as good a week as any to talk more generaly about the elite group of American badasses that pretty much everyone is convinced carried this op out – SEAL Team Six, the elite counter-terrorism unit of the United States military, and a group of shit-kicking counter-terrorist hardasses who spend their nine-to-five day jobs training to be an ultra-efficient cross-breed between Jack Bauer, Colonel James Braddock, and Jason effing Bourne.
