Phone number app

What's a good second number app for my smart phone?
Text now and pinger - I've used both - pinger has some annoying ads sometimes but TextNow works a lot better and sometimes you can pick up free call minutes for watching vids or just paying for them
Also if you don't use them for a length of time they will shut your number down and you will have to get a new number but as long as you send a few text a week your ok

Both are free just have to put with ads unless you pay for them to go away

Sideline or Hushed
I'm a fan of Sideline. Whenever I want or need a new number very easy to change.

I've heard a lot of love for Sideline, but my understanding is it shows up on you phone records?

I've had good luck with Text Now other than it doesn't have it's own contact list , which I absolutely hate. I've also used Hushed....nice app, but the cost is a pain if you do a lot of texting.
Trac phone....easy, cheap, throw away.

I use both Sideline and Google Voice because I needed a way to have two extra numbers on my phone.

Both work great and each has its separate little quirks.

Text plus. I have been using it for years.
