Spider-man!!! And some general chat about movies that you have recently enjoyed

I am really excited to go see this movie.
To make sure it will be an experience I will enjoy, and that I will have good seats, I'm going to a place that also serves food during the film.

Made the mistake of going to a basic AMC on a busy night, so all the seats were taken for those who arrived late. (Not us)
During the entire film (Baby Driver - awesome movie...packed full of action, guns, fast cars, funny moments and great music. And this dumb rude bitch in the front row was on her phone the entire time. I should have either gotten staff, or maybe even have yelled, "Get off your damn phone down there in the front".
But I was so immersed in the movie that I didn't want to miss anything.

I know at places like Alamo, for example, they will actually kick you out without a refund.

I also suggest going to Alamo, and arrive 30 minutes early to view the pre-movie packages they put together to watch before your movie starts.
They usually show interesting clips from old TV commercials and music videos or parodies that are related to the movie you're about to watch. (And they have great food!)
I remember Power Rangers had a clip with these little kids from another country acting like power rangers and luckily they played it twice. It was so funny.
And with Hardcore Henry, they had a special music video package that was about the film, and even had a "making of" clip...which was really entertaining since Hardcore Henry was filmed almost entirely using go pros on their stuntmen who played Henry.

For all the entertainment options in Vegas, they lack an Alamo Draft House type theater. We have several with great sound systems, reclining seats, but no dining.

Excited for Dunkirk, SPH. Absolutely loved Wonder Woman.
I want to see Wonder Woman again!!! It was really good.
I do want to see Dunkirk, I enjoy those kinds of movies (like Hacksaw Ridge)

I'm not sure what the other one stands for. You should send Alamo an email about opening one in Vegas. Make sure you mention that there's nothing like them out that way. I believe they started in Austin, and they are growing quickly.

I saw it last night and I was highly impressed. Marvel did it again. Good action, love story, and great story telling.

Wonder Woman was great! Alien Covenant was fairly entertaining. Mary Shelly's Frankenstein (De Niro as the monster) is a fave of mine.
Chips- only in about 20 and went to bed but funny as shit...and also with Michael Pena:
War on Everyone- Michael Pena and Alexander Skarsgard(son of Stellan Skarsgard for those Marvel fans) really an underground movie that at first you wonder if its a joke. Very good
Alien- it was good but I thought Prometheus was better
Mummy- yawn....dont do it

I watch anything Chris Nolan puts out so yes Ill also see Dunkirk

Today will either see Baby or Spiderman

I am conflicted on Baby. I hear great things but then re-watch the trailers and think "wft..,how is this going to be good...this has to be a prank" but people I respect swear by it.

Saw spider man in Imax 3d , not worth the Imax admission. Not a johnny depp fan but Pirates was way better. On to planet of the apes next week.

That's one of my mom's favorite movies, as is Somewhere In Time before Christopher Reeves (many people of my age range knew him as their Superman) had his horrible accident.

I am behind on my movies, I saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2 finally and liked it, although not as much as the first one. I had planned on waiting till Wonder Woman hits On Demand but the reviews have made me want to venture out to see it. Spider-Man looks great and I love the casting choices, I will probably see it this week sometime. I did make it out to see the Ft Worth Symphony perform Star Wars & Beyond at the botanical gardens. It was pretty awesone despite the weather shenanigans!

If you miss Wonder Woman on the big screen you will regret it, unless you have a badass home theater.
