Coming to Birmingham - advice

I will be coming up to Birmingham in about a week and a half or so and am curious if there are any areas to avoid staying in.

It has been a really long time since I visited Birmingham and I am really looking forward to having some fun!

Hi Natalie, I would say if you want non-low ballers etc, stay away from Downtown...choose a place near the Galleria in Hoover or on Hwy 280.
