Thinking about making a trip to the coast, and wanting to stop in Hattiesburg for a couple days. Where to stay and where nit to stay??? Thanks in advance 😊

I don't have any recommendations on places to stay but get your wheels checked out before you go. It's too hot to be stuck on the side of Hwy 49.

I stay at the Holiday Inn express right off 49/59 intersection.
It's usually clean and safe feeling. And it has easy access to Hattiesburg without being in all the traffic.

Depends on where you want to be in the city. I used to work at the Western on 49, clean rooms, and a bar with live band

Hey sweetie I sent you a pm with my favorite hotel. I've been using that one every time I travel to Hattiesburg on the last 10months and have had no issues. Most of the Motels around the 59 area or good either around the Hooters/Outback Area, and the Laquinta in front of the Grand Theater is nice. I know someone suggested the Western (if it's the one they on Hardy they are talking about) It's gone down some. Ohh one suggestion if you haven't already when you find a chain you like, get their rewards card, and if you can get their credit card even better. I did a lot of travel in 2015 and 16 and just used my last room points when I booked in Meridian for a race I am running in November.

Also on Intel in Hattiesburg, if you do an outcall be very careful of going to the East side of Hardy around the zoo area. The "Avenues" as it's called can be very hit and miss as far as a good area.

Want some restaurant tips tell me what you like and I'll suggest some local fair.
