I always wondered why some providers seem to travel so much? I could understand if you wanted to essentially finance a vacation while on vacation, although that seems to kinda miss the whole point of taking time off..
I've seen some that do a circuit around Texas cities or some who seem to travel across the country.
Just curious on the trend. It isn't a good thing or a bad thing.
I would think that someone would want to build up a rep and client base by staying in one city.
Lol. I am one of the gals you talk about....I have a good rep and a great client base in lots of US cities....I do it cause I make good bank and get to have fun, personally and hobbywise....I am a gypsy at heart so I luv trapesing around the country...I stay home couple weeks a month and chill with family....I live a good life and it works for me!

It is easy to burn out regulars, no matter how much they like you, by making it a quick succession visit. Easy to have a rotation of a handful of fellas in close cities that you circle once a month.
A reliable hometown client base usually means no need for travel. However, a lot of ladies choose not to play where they sleep.
I love travel, working or not. In fact, I am working out a plan to live like a nomad for the next year.
Traveling girls make more money. When you stay local for too long, you don't make as much, people got to miss you. And in general when traveling ladies come to my city, my business declines, so in order to keep a balance I must travel.

I love to travel to meet new friends and work for a week then go home and put my feet up .... I do seem to go to the same city's all the time as I have meany reg friends and love to meet then new ones ..
It's a win win . but it does cost a lot to tour .. so you do have to make a worth your time and the the cost of your tour ..
when I go on vacation that just what I do ,,
All ladies should post taint photos, they will surely drum up business.
It does costs quite a bit to travel...I have touring cost down to an art form...I have a good gas saver car...I never pay over 70 a nite for a hotel and get 3 or 3nhalf nice hotels on priceline....I carry my own "pantry" like tea, snacks, cereal, can raviolis, etc. And I usually get a microwave so I can cook meals in the room also.I also choose reasonably priced places to eat out a few times....I have no major debt except cell phone and a small car note (I have a nice lil house in a nice neighborhood for only 300 a month) so my profit level is good.

You can build a rep touring too. There's a lot of places I like to stop in regularly or at least semi-regularly.
I get wanderlust and i'm a bit of a social butterfly (perks of making money while touring is nice too). .
I could sit in D.C. and be just fine but I like to get around in more ways than one
.
I guess my thought as far as strategy is to maximize the amount of money you can make and reduce risk by having known clients in a known area.
It seems that traveling you are going to have unknown clients in unknown cities generally speaking. If you have known clients in a city or tour circuit, that can make sense.
I seriously doubt most guys are going to miss you, particularly in a hobby heaven like DFW. There are many new options unless you are particularly stunning or have a gimmick, like you are a midget or something. Typically if my fav provider isn't available, I just go see someone else.
That said, not everyone approaches things the way I do. I spoke with someone who said she was happy working 1 week a month bringing home 3k per month net.
Many it seem are happy to just have the bills paid plus nice things working 1-2 weeks a month vs early retirement with a mil in the bank.
Even in a big market like DFW-- your regulars WILL miss you.
I left DFW about 2 years ago. Whenever I visit, the same gentlemen who have seen me over the years come back and visit. If I go too long between visits, you can bet I will have several "WHEN ARE YOU COMING" messages.
Yes, its nice to get to see regulars when you stay in the same location all the time-- but at one point, all of those regulars were new clients, too. Moreover-- nothing stays the same forever. I've had gentlemen fall in love and leave the hobby, leave due to illness, leave due to death. If you never seek out new clients-- eventually no matter how wonderful you are, your clientele will dwindle.
There are benefits to both traveling and not traveling... which is best really depends on the individual lady.
