I was listening to Rush today at lunchtime. He said something that made a lot of sense.
North Korea can do, and say, just about anything they want because they have 9+ million hostages just right across the border in Seoul South Korea.
What do you do in a situation like this?
Since the Korean "Conflict" in the early '50's, the Us has been negotiating with The North Korean Regime. All of those "negotiations" have brought us to where we are now.
A Thugocracy now has the capability to build a 20 Kiloton Atom Bomb, and a missle to carry it thousands of miles.
Suppose North Korea decided tomorrow to march into the South, and if anybody raised a hand, they would fire missles tipped with these bombs at the US. What is the plan to stop them.
Keep in. Ind, they don't have to hit a specific target.
The next question will be, how long will it take the North Koreans to perfect the building of a Fusion, or Hydrogen Bomb. Who is going to stop them. All they have to do is threaten to lob some Fission Bombs at the US if we do anything to hinder them.
Think if Kim had a 20 Megaton Hydtogen Bomb, and a missle large enough to deliver it. Isnthat impossible?
Just a few years ago, we were told that they were decades away from having a workable Atomic Bomb, and even if they did have one, how would they deliver it.
Surprise. The future is now.
At what point is enough, enough. In WW-2' the Allies gave Hitler every thing he wanted untill he finally took something that mattered.
When will Kim finally do something that matters?
It might be too,late.
And while you are thinking about this, contemplate the idea that in short time Iran will have us over the same barrel. Thank you President Obama.
Rosey senario, huh.
