NFL Draft

Come on Queen, are you asleep today? I thought you would have got this discussion going, but the NFL draft is tonight.

Who do you think will be the # 1 pick?
Who do you think the Chiefs should take (player or position)?
Who do you think they will actually draft (player or position)?

Lots of holes to fill, this will be interesting to see how they handle the 3rd draft with the new regime.

This is going to come as a huge surprise but I don't get into the draft really, I dont watch akot of college football to know who is who I just take what we get and then find out who they are. I think we need a WR.

Really surprise what ATL traded to move up, but they have a strong team this year.....

Well Queen, we needed a WR, hope this guy works out. He's a big boy. Gabbert surprised me. Haven't really followed what the other teams in the west did.

I was hoping we would draft a WR, I had seen talks about torrey smith but they didnt take him. I looked at baldwin stuff and not too bad 6'5 and had a great combine. Vertical was crazy one of the top 2.. He will be able to jump and catch the deep balls over the smaller backs which is great!!! And with todd being a WR in AZ he will be taught well. Todd is VERY hard on the WR and has to have them just right so hopefully this is a great pick for us!!

We definitely need another wide receiver and Jonathan Baldwin looks like he has all the tools. Quite a few of the analysts seem to think he was a reach that early in the draft.

The Chiefs need upgrades at quite a few positions. Linebackers are weak, Hali needs somebody on the other side to help the pass rush, and the right side of the offensive line were all problems.

I like to see them get the best available football player in any of those areas. Maybe they think Jonathan Baldwin is that guy.

We'll know in a year or so I guess.

Getting a 3rd round pick and moving down makes it a little better pick. Sounds like Bowe when he came in the league, hopefully he has a good work ethic and keeps his nose clean. He seems to have all the tools.

Don't think we'll be hearing from the Queen for a bit, sounds like she stayed up late watching the draft and the wedding. Now that's a combination, how many women get off on the royal wedding AND the NFL draft? Not to mention her other skills that are well documented, by the boys and the girls (Autumn) now. What a woman!

HAHA Lakecat, I was able to get a few hours of sleep in but had a few things going on, Not only did I have the draft on last night But I also was watching the laker game too.. Last night was a big night on the TV.
