Obama and his administration deserve the credit for authorizing this
raid and the successful outcome. I am struck by the irony though.
During the last presidential campaign, all we heard from the Prez and
the left was how bad and evil the Bush team was for their prosecution
of the war on terror. Yet the Obama administration has now basically adopted
the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld template for fighting these bastards.
Oh well, whatever works.
I hope this sends one clarifying message to the terror thugs in the world;
no matter where you are, we can get you.

Hmm.., oh yeah and it took Obama to straighten out the mess and get the right commanders (McChrystal,Patreus and allowed Secretary of Defense Gates to do what was needed) and ramp up troop numbers in Afghanistan (nationally televised speech at West Point informing them that he was going to do this and to prepare themselves for it much to the disapproval of his own party). It also took him a little over 2yrs and what did we get under Bush for 8yrs? Nothing.
I remember the debate with McCain and Obama when Obama declared that if he found Bin Laden even in Pakistan, he would have Bin Laden killed. Well, ol' McCain went apeshit saying that Obama didn't know anything and that he shouldn't have revealed that to the enemy. We now know how that turned out, but I guess your right, whatever works.....
