Temple M&G October "Halloweenie Party"

So I got the date worked out for October which will be a little over a month from now. It will be a Friday....same time same place.

Since its October I'm thinking a Halloween party sounds in order. Costume is optional but there will be a "Best Costume" cash prize for the ladies. Voting will be done at 10pm and method will be counted by enthusiastic applause. Will work the prize money out through door fee for gents and charitable donation to contest.

I would like to attend!

I shopped all day and was so excited about meeting everybody finally, but had a huge knot in my tummy...a bad feeling. So I decided to follow my gut feeling and stay home...and I was right! My neice contacted me at 9pm and she was stranded and 8 months pregnant so I got her here to safety and missed an awesome party...I pray that I will be given the opportunity to be invited again. Im hoping to have a Thanksgiving get together myself. I love to cook and entertain so parties are a true delight for me. I want to thank Tammie and Nottie for the ride offers and I look forward to seeing everyone. My Dallas trip has been moved to next week. And again thanks to the host for a gracious invite.

Time is creeping and crawling closer. I expect it to be a boootiful night filled with fear (of eating too much) and terror...ific good times. Remember ladies, there will be a costume contest so be creative.

I will be coming a little later, most likely. I work until 7/7:30 here in Austin. My first day at a new full-time job.

I had to work during the last one. I live in Tyler so I have to make the drive and reserve a hotel room to work out of while I am there. I plan on being at this one, and I have the PERFECT costume that is diy and super hilarious. I may not win first prize, but I will win for originality. Groovy, I'm coming for you! Can't wait!
