I do like some variety, but like the providers I see I prefer to shop locally
But did try one in New York City one time pretty decent place

Not hobby related.

Moved to the proper forum.

Will have to try out Shake Shack.

In N Out is good, but Whataburger is still better.

Yeah I don't see what's so great about In N Out. It is "ok". So is Whataburger, except the Monterey Melt is excellent!

Some folks (including one Laker) from out of state look forward to Whataburger when they come here. lol

Will have to try Shake Shack, but probably the Shack Sauce will be the determining factor.

There's been a sign forever along IH10 near the Rim saying Steak n Shake is coming....

Steak and Shake is already here, but you will need a boarding pass in order to visit them since they are located in the food court in the Airport within the TSA checkpoints.
I think there is one located at Park North Shopping Center on San Pedro

Tried it last week. It's a good burger, but nothing to write home about. I still don't get all the hype over In-n-Out, I think those burgers suck, and the fries are like cardboard. Can't beat Whataburger for fast food burger, but on the higher end side you gotta try Hopdoddy, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality there.

I'm Still a Whataburger fan. The burger is bigger. crisper fries.

Lol, I knew everyone would come defend whataColdburger. Since its natural to defend what you grew up on.Their patties are too thin and streched out. They dont maintain their heat. Fries are awesome though.

Agree in and out fries are the worst. But double double animal style is the most addicting burger i have eaten. And if its too small get a 3x3 or 4x4.

My friend swears that if you get a double whatburger jr it maintains its heat better. Like an in and out double double.

Take some Rudy's Rub... mix it in the Burger Meat.. throw it on the BBQ... come cheese... the messier the better... put what the F*** you want on it.. a Cold Azz Modelo ( your Fav Brew) with a Lime.. "it doesn't get better than that"!!

Awwwww... perhaps the "long distance" type travelers will understand my late at night preferences for

White Castle.

Yup, 5 sliders for a buck way back when (hold the onyons, please!)

And load up on the french fries!

Shakes, malts back then were mighty efficient at tempering the greasy sliders, but, when you OTR WC were always close to the highways.

= = = = =

San Antonio, I still have a couple of burger spots (Carls on Fredericksburg back when was a favorite) and, never mind the Chris Madrid's burgers, the fries! the fries!

Not much comes close for me these days.

Also have not been to in-n-out as there's not really one close to the hood.

And I know I'm being a dork here but I prefer DQ to whataburger.
