Well according to my 5 friends who live in and around Barcelona things have calmed some what. No violence in the last 2 days but large demonstrations of possibly 100,000 people (Unconfirmed #) Demonstrations have not been violent so if you are in Barcelona just stay away from them.
Problem could be coming as the National government is likely to send in the State Police to occupy the houses of government and that will no doubt cause friction.
I am not taking a stand on this issue, other to say that the people that I know in Barcelona are super people to be around and I hope the best for them--whatever that turns out to be.
