ISO house or condo for rent by owner

I am looking for a more up scale location that is not an apartment as i do have a criminal background from when i was young and dumb so i cant get an apartment in my name does any know of a place for 800 or less a month if the owner were open and could know what i do for a living it would be amazing i am looking for any where in san antonio but i prefer the north ish sides of town

you can get quite a bit for that.. renting a 3br with a den, fireplace and pool for $950 on the NW side
