Interrogation

So Rick Santorum is sure that John McCain just does not understand how effective harsh interrogation techniques can be.

OMG when will it end. Would be funny if they did not get votes and contributions along with air time on FOX.

McCain wanted to answer his statement, but since he can't raise his hands over his head, he couldn't get anyone's attention.

I wonder how that condition happened, Rick?
Santorum is a nasty piece of work and I love Dan Savage every single day for taking his last name and making a nasty sex word out of it. I adore McCain. He should have been president the first time W ran and now I wish he would just go retire with his lovely wife.

Well, at least I don't miss Trump anymore. I told you someone would fill the "idiot slot" once Trump pulled out.

I used to like McCain. If he had won the Presidency back in 2000 I think things would look very different in this country now. For the better.

But he sold his soul to get the Repub nomination in 2008. He's no longer the maverick, and I agree it's time for him to retire now.

McCain aide Mark Salter responded on Facebook, saying, "For pure, blind stupidity, nobody beats Santorum. In my 20 years in the Senate, I never met a dumber member, which he reminded me of today,"
He is a dolt. I hate to laugh at the expense of a child, but I've always gotten a chuckle out of this photo. Poor girl upset that her dad lost his senate seat.

Sorry to say this to a certain few (or many?), but as a retired military man, I can tell you that torture does NOT work, at least most of the time.

I had the chance to ask then Governor Jesse Ventura (I-MN) about it, and as a former Navy Seal, he agreed whole heartedly with my assessment. People have their opinion of him, but the man really is intellegent and except for following Bush's lead by also giving away the treasury in Minnesota, he was one of our better governors. I'm not a Seal or green beret, so I asked him. Others in the room who were in the elite teams concurred with him.

As for Santorum, I can't say I'm overly impressed with him either. I never thought about what Starry69 said, but as I think about it, I agree. I campaigned for McCain in 2000, but the way Rove Inc. smeared him. I cast my vote for Gore. No regrets. Just my nickel and donut input.

Farewell, been great reading different points of view. I hope I can tag along on the coat tails of a Marine when we go to Pearly Gate to see St. Peter. Tomorrow will be here in 44 minutes and that means Rapture. Thanks for the good times and stimulating inputs. Sorry I missed Charlotte and Ali Kat.
Cheers,

Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was NOT, nor was he ever, a Navy SEAL; though part of Underwater Demolition Team 12, he left the Navy 8 years before they were combined with the SEAL Teams, and SEAL status was not retroactive. The 2 NEC's for each are different as well. Ventura, though on active duty during the Vietnam War, never saw any combat action.

Ventura's claim to be a former member of SEAL Team 1 was exposed as a lie by former Navy SEAL Commander Bill Salisbury in his article published in the San Diego Reader.

Holy S * * T!!! Big Mike.

I had to read it to believe it. During that forum in Minneapolis, he had some elite forces servicemen in attendance and no one questioned his status as a SEAL. If he has been claiming to be a SEAL, then he sure fooled a lot of us. Not what I would have liked to have read, but thanks for putting the truth out there for us to read. Still, I agree with him that "Torture is against the law and it doesn't work." Good research job Big Mike.
