How do backpage ads work exactly (for ladies)?

Have always wondered about this....do the providers have to actually post each time, or is there an "auto post every 6hrs" option? I see posts all day from the same person (sometimes 3pm...then 4 am..). And what's the price to post an ad?

Ads can post as original for $3-8 depending on category and for upgrades you can auto post or post ad to top of list on hourly schedule for same price each hour. If duplicate ads then usually the auto post feature was gotten or top of page feature. Then sponsor ads in the pink section stay up for week at a time for $3-$10 per week depending on demand.

I'm not a fan of the new BP "phone # only" format... more excuse for me to stay OFF backpage...

I went to it for the first time in ages the other day. Besides the phone number only they also include what are mostly bullshit links. IMO just another reason to stay away.
