Got a heck of a deal on a S&W m&p Shield series 1 at Academy last night .40 cal going for 299.19. I know there are numerous reasons to carry concealed and for the ladies it’s available in 9mm too. Less recoil. Figured I’d pass it on. Might be somebody in need of a new protection tool that’s not made out of latex. Lol. Won’t let me upload pic.

I like the way it conceals. I’d been riding with my 1911 10mm or my kimber stuck between the center and driver seat and it’s extremely obvious when approaching. Couldn’t bring it in to work at all. I’m always fearful that somebody’s gonna shoot this place up.

The S&W Bodyguard is a good concealed one too

I wanted a bit more stopping power. If I’m not mistaken they come .380 and 9mm.

Hey i'm pretty liberal but do practice my 2nd Amendment right. I carry a glock 19 - 9mm

380 is a good choice for very close range like from your car seat to the window. The shot to the face will make them back up a bit.

Yep, just talk to any good gun smith about working on the S&W autos.
Revolvers are good, autos are not so much and that is why they are cheap.

I had a Shield .40. It was a bit small for my grip. Good piece, but just small for me.

The shield trigger is horrible. First thing to do is upgrade to an apex.

Most of the time when you need one it's up close and personal. If you take the time to be proficient with what you carry the caliber is not so much important. I used to always think bigger is better but not so much anymore. Kind of depends on what you intend to use the weapon for and if you are going to carry.
