References? How do you decide?

This is a question for the gents, but ladies feel free to chime in

how do you decide which ladies to use as a reference?


do you go with:

• the most recent providers you met with
• the providers you frequent most often
• providers that you know provide refs, and are reliable & quickly respond
• the 1st names that come to mind when sending that initial pm to make a date
• references? --i havent established any yet (im still a noob)

my mind is always wondering

this question came about, because ive noticed some gents will use the ladies that theyve reviewed. while some, do the opposite. they'll provide references, but of the ladies that they 'havent' reviewed. (that one always had me scratching my head... like why not them, since you reviewed them) ...and some, just provide, what appears to me to be, a random list

i ALWAYS check references & i try to quickly respond to any lady that seeks a reference from me

BIG thanks to the ladies that provide references!!

In the following order:
The providers I frequent most often.
The most recent providers I met. (I usually ask if I can use them as a reference, or get an okay from them for P411)

For me, a combination of factors:

1. I've seen them multiple times, even if not necessarily the most frequently or most recently (lowered risk of their response being, "GaryWho?");

2. They are well-established and generally well reviewed and highly regarded on the site;

3. They've typically answered my appointment requests within several hrs (so I know I can count on them to provide refs within reasonable time limits);

4. They are "drama-free."

Sadly, there are some on here who talk big about the value of references out of one side of their mouth, and out of the other corner of their mouth refuse to give younger/newer girls the ref when asked. And who are all rosie on the board, then bitches when it comes to the ref. I have had providers tell me this.

2. There are instances, such as travel or agencies, where a ref has to be from a girl who has an established presence on internet. That is, a website.

If I have not seen a lady in a while, even though we may be "in good", I do not feel right giving her as a reference. That just seems rude.

Whether I have reviewed a lady or not is not relevant to having her as a reference.

Any relatively recent, drama free, non-flaky lady makes my list! Also, the girl who doesn't slap me or throw a drink in my face is a good start to deciding whether to use her as a reference! J/K!

Usually the most recent, or ones I have frequented more often.

I have no references. So, I call someone up and ask them if I can use them as a reference (with the promise that I'll see them next time).

I find most guys use me as a reference when they have only seen me once in 3 years .ahehehe...and there are very few ladies that confirm references with me anymore. I have found they are still accepting me as a reference just because of my "reputation" and hoping they can make that client a regular of theirs....ahehehe...the reference game isn't the same anymore..it's not for safety...it's for profit!

I never get offended when someone uses me as a reference...whether they've seen me recently or not; however, just remember guys...most ladies will not accept references if they're not current.

Let me first apologize to the ladies because I'm one of the providers who refuses to give ref. I feel I have good reasons, last year I was visiting Nashville and was contacted by a guy from eccie he had references from verified ladies but unfortunately I came to find out he had been caught up in a sting operation and in return for his freedom he started working for le and I just so happened to be the unlucky lady. With this being said, he could have been a great client, but who's to say what happens once they leave. I don't ask for reference so I guess I can't really relate, I've never been arrested either tho. I know some won't understand, all I can say is keep living and hobbying the best way you know how to.

LeLana, the Ref system is not perfect, but I don't see how having no references makes you feel safer? You have just made it that much easier for LE and serial abusers. But it is your business. I hope you stay safe out there.
