Rates for visiting providers

So... I was browsing the ads looking for some fun for tomorrow and found a visiting provider that caught my eye. I sent a message welcoming her to our fair city and inquiring of her availability. She responds with activities and rates.... wow... 375 for a half and 425 for the hour!!! This was double what was in recent reviews from her other travels.
Now ... I refuse to haggle rates and simply told her I was shocked at the hike and we ended the dialogue. The question I have is primarily for the ladies... do you research a market before you visit toand adjust your requested rates accordingly or is it more of a "I know my worth" situation? Either way I get it but great-googly-moogly from a 200/hr review special to 425/hr in a month is ... well... Just wow

If her phone don't ring, the price usually comes down.

It might be the tax refund season hike lol.

What the hell is a tax refund? Haven't seen one of those in over 20 years.

I usually charge 300 for an hour but I do review specials a lot too.

Ok the traveling world according to Sindi..

It is "not" the gentlemen's responsibility to support or contribute to a ladies traveling expenses.simply because She ( we) are not in or around her ( our) hometown.
Without prejudice to an outcall that involves driving more than .. let's say 20 miles..then yeah maybe 20 bucks.. maybe.. her car should have gas regardless..

I'm sorry but her "upcharging" rate is nothing short of ridiculous!!

Makes me wonder if she is paying for her room on a daily basis .. hoping to stay another day. Ridiculous!!

Maybe she's got a new pimp boyfriend and he needs his cut?

Ok so I reached out to a couple of providers that are friend's of mine..known for slightly increasing their rates when touring.. Asking them ..What exactly is this " upcharge for..? And about"..most popular answer was "travel expense " ..lolololol..

Alright.. I am usually easy to get along with..mostly when I agree... and I do not.

When waitressing, I don't expect the source of my income to furnish me with pens, walking shoes and an apron..

Come on girls .. you make enough money to finance a working vacation!!

I love your attitude about the hobby sindi. Class act for sure and always how I felt and have tried to explain. Thanks for sharing much needed input.

And to note, you got two appointments out of this thread just for being cool and reasonable where the one the thread is about got none from it and wouldn't have anyways at that hourly rate. So who is really ahead here? Less is more.
