Just noticed a change for VP status, one of the things ECCIE may be doing in preparation of SESTA/FOSTA being signed into law.
Providers now have to be 21, not 18 as was the case up to just a few days ago. Here's the new deal:
Verified Provider Process for ECCIE - (Ladies please read) Ladies, you may post a weekly ad in this section once you have been upgraded to Verified Provider.
Submit your info to the staff at Houston@eccie.net
1. website address (your website or advertising site)
2. referral from another provider or hobbyist
3. links to reviews from recognized members (any site)
Any combination of the above requirements which will sufficiently establish you as a legit provider will be accepted.
In addition, you must submit proof to eccievp.verify@gmail.com that you are 21 or over to become a Verified Provider on Eccie. We require a photocopy of your Drivers License and/or state issued ID and your location. Your real name and address should be hidden, but your birth date and photo must be visible, along with your user name. We also need a close up picture of your face with you holding up the license or ID next to your face. Proof of age WILL be requested of ANYONE seeking VP status, regardless of their stated age. Please submit your information separately from the info you sent to your local staff for verification.
The verification process could take 72 hours.
Explains why some established young providers now have "age verification pending" on their avatars, and their Showcases are suddenly missing in action. We had quite a few who professed to be 18.
However, I am wondering WHY this change was made. To give more credence to this site as not being involved in the trafficking of minors? But I thought the legal age for pretty much every consent short of drinking Jameson in this country was 18?
Hmmm, just hit Google, and evidently a gal can't be a stripper in some states until she turns 21, depending on the type of establishment and the liquor license. Didn't know that before. Precedent?
