The Longest Day, the Normandy Invasion, argueably the greatest logistical move military history has ever seen - AND - no one has mentioned it? Even with the week long spate of D-Day and WWII (the Big One) related movies? This was one of the finest hours the US Military has ever seen.
Here it is 9:15pm (CDT) - I can't believe it.

I did not miss it. I watch NBC Nightly News every night (even though they admit to giving bo 3 times the coverage) Coverage was about a 89 yo who was a medic and saved a man but had never be back to Normandy
and I watch all of the Memorial Day war movies
