The importance of our connections now that the government is trying to control internet content

Before the shutdown, i was not keeping records for privacy reasons. I only used PM here to communicate. I mean no burner phone, no email..

So i now realize i must be able to make contact if it were to close again. So if possible, try to keep email addresses, phone #'s etc stored somehow, somewhere.

So now i have email!

Yep, just remember that feeling when skynet came and crashed all the sites and all the contact 411 vasnished - was a helpless feeling not being able to go on a date for a while...

Probably better to use an encrypted e-mail server like protonmail.ch. Gmail.com is easier to seize than a server that is out of the country.

Dallas is correct.

My personal book even contains a couple east coast friends from well before I met the ex (a couple decades ago). One is again a bcd friend, the other is now a bar owner and she overpours my drinks.
Friends can easily stay friends long term, bcd or otherwise.
