Accents in the wichita area

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've noticed this weird trend in the Wichita area towards this accent that seems to only exist among providers. I'm guessing it's an Oklahoma or Arkansas accent?

You can tell it almost immediately by the way it kinda switches around 'been' and 'was.' For example, "I been going to town all week" and "We was out all night," instead of "I've been going to town" and "we were out."

I feel like I don't normally hear this when I talk to most Wichitans, but I hear it all the time in the hobby. Anyone have any guesses what's bringing this accent on? Also, are there any providers out there that do a more neutral Kansas accent, like you'd hear on the nightly news?
Sounds like hick talk! Or maybe they have self identity issues. Most girls I’ve known in this business aren’t sure who they are...The provider or her real identity?? So maybe they create this whole fake persona with an accent to try and distinguish themselves.

I’m a Kansas girl, been in Kansas over 30 years, and have a nice subtle Kansas accent. The only time my accent gets thicker is when I’m drinking and loud lol
Lol I'm like 80 % Irish and I have an Irish accent. When I drink, it gets worse. It sounds like hood talk vs an accent
There has been a few girls in KC that talk like that...it's definitely hood.
Agree with Nikki, sounds more like hood talk than southern.
