Airport area might have more options and it’d be more centralized.

The Hotels near John Battle Blvd and Interstate 10 seem pretty nice. I'm staying in this area for a month.

Definitely close to the airport. More likely for people to visit as opposed to being on either side of town

If you stay on the Westside, you have to deal with all the traffic and construction

El Paso airport area is the best. Centrally located and easier access for everyone. Downtown and the Sunland areas are far west plus as said above the construction traffic is horrible.
