According to the DNC Chair, Republicans would rather have us driving foreign cars rather than support the US auto industry. I think she made this comment as she was getting in to her Infiniti, a Japanese car.

She also claimed that the GOP was going to turn the clock back to the days of Jim Crow. You know Jim Crow when democratic police officials harassed black folks who complained to democratic politicians only to be ignored. Jim Crow ended during the Eisenhower administration who used federal troops to integrate southern schools. By the way, Ms. Wasserman-Schultz won't have been allowed to join the country club during democratic Jim Crow days.

This argument made only a very small amount of sense back in the good old days when we had 4% unemployment. But today, when we are at 9% unemployment, this is an utterly asinine argument. Particularly when illegal immigrants are no longer doing jobs Americans "don't want", but rather doing jobs Americans have the audacity to expect a decent wage to do - things like construction, factory work, and hotel services.

Talk to the Georgia farmers about those "jobs." Now no one will go to Georgia to harvest the crops. hhhhmmmmm Social engineering never works.
