The cliff notes version: Where do you think my "services" are most needed ... Innerloop/Midtown/Downtown/Med Center or West Houston?
I've had a great time the last 6 weeks I have been in West Houston. Appointment requests have been extremely steady, but each time I come to see a client, I'm driving from Montrose, so it's quite a drive.
Then after the appointment, I have to drive back into town. Somedays, this may be 2 hours in driving. Another disadvantage for me is that I can't accommodate last minute appointments since my drive is so far.
For me to establish a permanent in-call in West Houston is certainly not the most convenient for me, however, what is best for my business and my clients is of the most importance to me.
On the other end of the spectrum, my life is centered around downtown/midtown, plus, there are almost no providers in the area VS. West Houston seems to have dozens of providers on any given day, so it seems to me, I'd be most "needed" back in the loop.
Finally, if my in-call is downtown or in the loop, I'm able to accommodate last minute appointments since the drive to my in-call would only be 10 minutes or less from my job in Montrose. It also opens me up to all the clients that use park & ride or ride the train to work, since they could also ride the train or walk to my in-call.
For the sake of transparency, if I did go back in the loop, it would be a private building with free garage parking so you'd never have to worry about finding a parking spot or having to pay for street parking.
From a clients viewpoint; which location would be most convenient for you?
Thanks for your time and opinions,
Brooke
