Hotel options....

James8's Avatar
So I'm going to be in town in a couple weeks for business (even though I always make time for pleasure) and I have a few options on where I'll be staying. I was wondering if any of you would be willing to chime in with your opinions.

I can stay at Bally's for free in a basic room. The room is comped due to my membership status. This is a good central strip location and of course free is good.

On the other hand I'm also considering staying somewhere a little nicer like either Bellagio, Vdara, or Delano. I'm used to staying at a little nicer class hotel when I visit other cities, but I have never stayed at any of these hotels in Vegas. I'm wondering if any of you think it would be worth the additional $ or if I should just keep it in my pocket for other activities?

Also I was wondering how the hobby is viewed at some of these higher end hotels.

Thanks for your input!

I used to stay at Ballys when visiting for Business trips, I could never really enjoy my business trips there. Yet I have stayed there many of times for Vacations. I guess it was the vibe I was here for business I wanted to hotel to match the mood. I usually stay at the venetian for business trips now, but a lot of the conventions and trips I have here have after parties there and conferences there and I can take the tram to the convention center. I guess it is what benefits you the most. Ballys anyone can stay there and security inst much of a an issue as far as the hobby stuff. Bellagio , Vdara, and Delano are great hotels. But I have only stayed there for vacation to get away from stuff and they all did great on that. I never did the hobby at Vdara and Delano but Bellagio I just meet the provider at a bar got some drinks to break the ice and walked her up.I do not think anyone noticed since it was a upscale casino and she was smoking hot. If Ballys saves you some $$ and you do not mind then stay there and enjoy it and your other activities you might do.

Hobbying can be done at any of the hotels as long as you meet me downstairs to go up to the room together if there are security at the elevators
I am always discrete and can dress casual
I am like the girl next door type so I blend in easily and just look like another tourist

Bellagio is definitely worth it compared to Bally’s and the price isn’t too much different
Vdara is nice as well but not as many amenities
