I will be visiting this coming week & I haven’t been in so long I just thought I would reach out and see where are the better parts to stay now and which areas I should avoid.

Personally I think the Galleria, Westchase or Energy corridor are fine. No to Hobby Airport or IAH areas. And do not go anywhere near Bissonnet area. Not called the “combat zone” for nothing.
