sources? you pulled the 2.5% off your fanny?
The number in the US, according to 2015 Gallup survey (SURVEY!!!! no census data available...) is 3.6% NATIONALLY. (source: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/21/u...opulation.html
Same survey states that in Dallas, 3.8% consider themselves gay... higher than the average.
Which is higher than the 2.5% I mentioned, which granted, is garbage...
The reason gay issues are more visible is because these issues are, for the most part, glaringly unfair; while prostitution is considered illegal and has no moral or legal standing.
So if you consider all the closeted gay people, there appears to be way more LGBT people than providers.
AND the 2.5% figure is for women. 3.8% is for the population. In real numbers:
providers: 1.3 million people X 50% (women) X 2.5% = 16,250 female providers
gay people: 1.3 million people X 3.8% = 49,400 people, male and female.
Even if you put your multipliers, you have to add multipliers for closet gay people, transgender, etc.

- The numbers are still relatively close, and it doesn't change the context of the dialog... there's not like "35% are LGBTQ people", and the average person sees them everywhere... you obviously for the reasons you stated, agree.
- ...likewise, the amount of "closeted" people (which I'm giving you) can probably be compared to the amount of UTR providers - be they a regular provider, of some girl who occasionally trades "time for bens" on any level. But if they are "closeted" or UTR, then they are not "Visually represented" in my reference.
The entire point is the two "amounts are within a similar probability... +/- a percent or two"...
...and my round-about discourse is about the number of Providers, "Wow, with the amount it appears are out there as a percentage of the population (which surprised me)... maybe those girls at Rattlesnake or Dragonfly, or the lobby of the OMNI or Westin, dressed in the 5 inch heels and (barely) ass-covering mini-dresses, might (occasionally) be a Provider too. (more times then I was previously aware)
(In the same way that some man, dressed impeccably - at "Station4"
MIGHT be gay... small chance, I know, but I think it's evidentially possible)
I think your use of the term "
way more" here would be like you saying to me,
"You've got 'way more' dick than me Scribe, because mine is 3" and yours is 3.5".."
...as Providers would laugh and say at that level "What's the difference, and who fucking cares?"
...and look - while I joke - I seriously meant you no personal offense. You seem awful upset here. If you want to "come out" or something - nobody here would think any differently of you. It's cool if you like that stuff...
... and knowing your preferences, I (for one) would be more understanding of your statements.
