A new Boeing aircraft plunges into the sea shortly after takeoff. The previous 4 flights showed erratic airspeed indicator ratings. This flight and the 4 previous flights all experienced wild changes in altitude and speed.
Yet the plane was cleared for flight. What happened ?

Great question. I am truly disappointed and saddened by the loss of life which could have been prevented. I expect the judiciary system to prosecute the responsible including the owner of criminal negligence . Firing the technical director only is not acceptable . I will stop and answer the question.
The plane had reported in the past issue with the air speed indicator key to flying. The air speed indicator is a nozzle situated in the front of the plane towards the bottom right of the nose cone which houses the radar.
A commercial plane cannot make sudden turns and the speed control is important. If you guys / gals Are frequent flyers you all know the planes start descending roughly 90 miles out for queuing And alignment with the runway.
The air speed controls the throttle movement as in most of the planes the flight data developed by the dispatches are fed into a computer which does most of the flying.
The plane crashed while still gaining altitude in other words in a critical stage and went down at an altitude of 3000 ft that's fairly low as depicted by the flight radar.
The erroneous data on speed confused the computer and further with fluctuation in speed as stated confused the throttle which controls the speed. Imagine each engine at max thrust at that stage as it is supposed to be gaining altitude each at 32000 pounds further added to the controls which the pilots could not control due to steep nose drop and the gravity added to the cause.
The above statement is speculative and a full understanding will be in the order after the investigation is concluded.
I pray for the folks who were lost and for their relatives . Truly sad a classic example of negligence - knowing the risks still exposing the people to risks.
