There were 2 of them, only one in uniform. They asked me if I have a minute to talk. Since they did not just arrest me, I knew they had nothing so I played it cool. Asked me if I was a regular. Asked me for my ID. I could have told them to fuck off but I cooperated. Asked me about my limp and made small talk. I asked them what this was about. Their response was, we can't comment on an ongoing investigation. I played dumb and said why would you investigate ME? They said I'm not under investigation. I responded if this place is selling drugs I'm not coming back ( playing dumb). The plain clothes guy said it would be a good idea not to. I left.

Of course, they may not have anything. And, there may not be an actual investigation. They may be harrassing guys to curb our enthusiasm. If so, it's curbed mine.

But, if I owned that spa, I'd be at City Hall, demanding they stop harrassing the customers. Nothing says, "legit" like a tax-payer pissed off about oppression without cause.
