There are no tickets available in Pella for either the premiere or the BBQ following. The theatre only holds about 350 people. I would go if I could get tickets and before you make some shit headed comment; how many people went to Washington DC for the Obama inauguration when the temperature was about ten below?

Well, that is something new. A Fox News reporter in Iowa is giving his report while standing up to his belly button in flood waters. Another example of government in action.

Which is more historic............

A) Going to DC for the first half black/white POTUS's inauguration

B) Going to a flood infested state for a stupid movie premier

Also, on a more important note.......all of those people loving, tea bagging, hating government politicans....why aren't they going on tours of the flooded areas to see what's happening to the heartland, the farmers, the small businesses who are losing everything? As for the movie; Sarah Palin is just a private citizen who the media has gone out of it's way to destroy. You realize that in about 50 years they will make movies out of this like Howard Hughes (The Aviator). Government tried to destroy Hughes and may have succeeded.

I don't hate anyone. Hate is a strong word and an emotion that I refuse to waste time or energy on.

I know they hate big government. I actually know a ton of people who have been fighting the floods and continue to do so. But, that wasn't my point as you might have missed it.

My point was why aren't any of those candidates who they seem to adore looking at the floods, talking to the people about it and going to bat for those people. I see more being done by strangers than the candidates or government for that matter.
