Nancy Pelosi has a long history of standing up for liberals and pushing a progressive agenda. I myself being a liberal find it refreshing and look forward to a world of socialism where we all share in the wealth and everyone is given a chance in America to succeed. It’s great to be able to report that today’s youth are more progressive and liberal which will lead to a better future for all of us. Originally Posted by StandinStraight

What could possibly go wrong with a great plan like that? Originally Posted by Ex-CEO

The "socialist" (as you use the term) solution to inequality in America is to tax the wealthy more. We already have the most progressive tax system in the developed world, so that's not working. Maybe you need to look for other solutions. Democrats are just as responsible for inequality as Republicans. You and like minded people could start by improving the school systems in districts you control. Many are in sad shape in big cities controlled by Democrats.
Btw, the top 1% do not control 99% of the wealth, that's no where close to true.
You are unfortunately correct about the Millennials, particularly the ones with liberal arts educations who can't think for themselves and instead mimic the views of their professors. Millennials on the whole are indeed progressive, and when they start voting in greater numbers than baby boomers, the USA will begin a long decline. Best case is we end up like France, worst case like Greece. Originally Posted by Tiny
