Finally made it to your fair city. Before I faint from starvation, anyone have suggestions on a nice place to eat?

That is such a hard question because we have so much damn food! What're you looking for? My favorites on the plaza are Fogo De Chao, PF Changs, JJ's, Cooper's Hawk. For Italian, Garozzo's on the North End is really cool, or if you're closer to Brookside I love Carmen's. Los Tules and Manny's have fantastic Mexican. Q39 has probably the best BBQ in town, which is saying something.

Correction. I'm at Midtown-Westport

There are so many great places in the Power & Light District, depending on where you are. Anthony's on Grand has great Italian too. 801 Chop House has awesome steaks, but it can get expensive. I enjoy the Quaff off broadway for drinks and music, food is standard bar food.

Since you say mid-town/westport walking distance, I am thinking Westport Road. McCoy's and Westport Cafe and Bar come to mind. They have bar seating if you don't want to sit at a table by yourself. Still if you come to KC, you shouldn't leave without tasting the bbq.

Town Topic is still on my bucket list. Not terribly close to Midtown/Plaza area. Any Uber driver worth his salt, though, would know where it is.... Enjoy, KC, Collette...
