Best Food In Kansas

Hey guys travling lady here, that loves to try new foods! I've never been to Kansas so I'm in need of places to chow down!! Feel free to PM me if you like...
Depends what you like to eat and what part of town you're in.
For Mexican, Tacqueria Mexico SW BLVD location.
BBQ will start a whole conversation of it's own on here. My preferences - Down Home : LC's. Sit down : Jack Stack. Elder Statesman : Arthur Bryants.
Midwest/ Southern comfort food. Corner Cafe in Riverside although their prices have gone up. Roxannes in Parkville is a good alternative for daytime.
Italian - Mid-upscale - Cascones on North Oak. Tavern type - North End in Columbus Park.
Zaina downtown does good Middle Eastern. Also checkout Habashi House in the River Market.

Happy eating and keep a little junk in that trunk ;-)

Is there anything good close to the airport area?
Tin Kitchen in Weston, if you've got wheels.
Roxanne's has a location in Platte city but, again, breakfast and lunch only.
For Asian food. Try Tokyo Japan Tepanyaki on Barry Rd. Always fun trying to catch those shrimps launched at your mouth.
What's your range ? driving, Uber or delivery ?

Kansas City is one of the fastest up-and-coming foodie towns in the country. But sadly there's not much out by the airport.
Ixtapa on Barry rd near Zona Rosa for a unique gourmet leaning Mexican cuisine.
And btw, You're in Missouri :-)

There is plenty near the airport. Smokehouse bbq. Granite city, hereford house.
If you're up north, visit Piropos. Everything there is impeccable.

Enjoy KC! Be safe, sweetie!
