casey getting rich is somewhat dicey. her problem is... she doesn't have that much credibility due to excessive lying.

I think the prosecution really screwed up here. Just my opinion and if you disagree I appreciate that. Purely circumstantial ecidence is not going to fly and IMHO it should not. When we allow our governement to inprison people without direct evidence we are really destroying our Constitution.

Understand I am not saying she did not do it, I am not saying she is innocent. I am saying the DA could have waited to investigate further and obtain the direct evidence he needed. I think this says a lot for our judicial system and in a good way. I do not want a murderer running around free in our soceity but far worse to me is our governemnt locking people up without enough evidence. When a case looks bad, smells bad, and just not enough, best to wait than to go to trial and never again can she be tried for that incident. Just my .02

Outdoorsman, I completely agree. I admit that I didn't follow the trial much (at all), but my impression is that the prosecutor relied on a mountain of circumstantial evidence. Convicting her solely on circumstantial evidence would be an awful precedence to set. I could see that giving cops & DAs the confidence to go after all kinds of people without having any direct evidence.

Did she do it? I sure as hell think so.
Did the DA screw the pooch? Without a doubt.
