Walmart or target or any place really has phones you can pay cash for and don’t have to have any of your info.

Kati is right. Some phones can be purchased unlocked. Buy a sim card and a minutes card. Simple mobile is one. There are others. Takes 5 min. to set up. Buy more minutes every month. Just never use it for real world business. So it can't be traced back to you.

You can buy unlocked Phones and Sim cards for them, without having to give info to register? Do they already have a phone number attached to them? Appreciate any detail info. Thx

The phones have no number. The sim card has a number but it activates when you purchase a card and go online. You put in a pin and they activate the number. You can get a basic 30 day or get a longer plan. I do 30 day. If you don't use it much, you can let it go more than a week past your contract end date. Then get another 30 day. It starts from the date you put the new pin in. This allows me to keep the number but not have to pay every 30 days. All cash. No ID required.
Thanks hooked! For a dummy, you can get the phone and SIM card at a place like Target?

I've been looking at a new prepaid phone recently too. Is anyone aware of phones that you can active from the phone itself? Most of the ones I've looked at require you to active it online (which I'd prefer not to do). Thanks!
I believe the phones at Walmart have a process that lets you activate the prepaid phone on the phone. It doesn't need an email account just a lot of button pushing to get the activation code right.
Go to Walmart, but a TracPhone with cash. Best thing I ever did. Can then add minutes down the road one of two ways: back to Walmart and buy a card with cash or use a credit card which is obviously easier, but trackable. good luck. PM me if you have any questions. Once you have done it, you will wonder you didn't buy one long ago.

Pay. Ash for a trac phone at Walmart. Buy a new card with cash when you need minutes. Activate the first time using public wifi at McDonald's or some where like that.after the activated you can just use the phone text to enter the pin on your renewal card. Never connect to wifi at your home. As long as you pay cash and don't link to your personal network you should be good.
