Bumping Old Review Threads

This is starting to drive me nuts. We seem to be enduring a plague of it this week. I noticed that in some areas the mods lock the threads after a certain period. Any chance that could be a new custom here along with names in the title? Now I gotta go scare some kids off my lawn. LOL

As in anything over say 6 months or some other time frame. Would not bother me. It is better to link a old threads. Other than threads that remain active.

Or just reviews. older than 30 days.

I say lock 'em after 30 days.

Let Jack keep his mod privileges. It'll give him something to do to occupy his time while he's going through "Mod Withdrawal".

Seems like overkill and an extra manpower burden when the recent spate is largely tied to one relatively new guy.

The rule is already in the books to not bump old threads.

but then not all new guys review and understand the rules.

I think comments shouldn't be allowed on reviews at all.. Its a review not a thread topic.

You all know comments create drama many times. Dumb rude comments, you paid what?, guys dissing each other, outing ROS that the mods have to fix.. shall I go on.. PM if you want more info.

Less work for the mods, no drama, and no bumping. Problems solved, lock as soon as it posts.
