I will add to that. 47% of the populace pays nothing in taxes. Think about it NOTHING! In fact they get paid out of the treasury for things like having kids, not working, and basically taking up space.

So I would suggest this is the biggest tax loophole of all. Its time we closed that gap!

Bullshit. They may pay nothing in federal income taxes, but I'll bet a month's gross they pay taxes in some form or another (state income taxes, SS taxes, medicare tax, local sales tax, vehicle registration, utility surcharges, excise tax on fuel, alcohol, etc.).

I pay all those and more! And I am not asking for the world here but we have a class of people who pay nothing in Federal income tax and ask the world. How about ponying up 1%? Is that too much to ask? Perhaps to contribute and have ownership in the same government that you keep voting yourself largesse from!
