What prompts guys to use the full name in a review? Do they not know any better or just not care?

There is no penalty. You can use real names to your heart's content, and, as long as they not members of the site, it's okay.

Sorry, just going by what a mod told me. I've reported multiple instances where the real name of a provider was put in the review.

I also RTMed an ML post wherein someone was referred to by a name that some outside this world know her by, and a link was provided to a revenge-porn post.

I was told as long as they weren't ECCIE members, there wasn't anything to be done.

Maybe it's okay to use real names in the ML but not in SC posts?

I know what my rules would be, and how I would enforce them if I were in charge, but I'm not, so I alternate between trying to do what I think is right and just say, "What's the use?"
