If I'm a regular on a web forum, I like to login and see new/updated threads without having to click through multiple subforums.
Recently I asked RocketSurgeon (a Mod who knows the ins/outs of vBulletin forum software) to put together a shortcut for me to do this and it's: https://www.eccie.net/search.php?do=getnew&f=37
If you click on this URL, you'll see a list all new posts in the Houston subforum on your screen.
After browsing the ones of interest, to reset the list as "Read", go to the main ECCIE homepage here: https://www.eccie.net/index.php and scroll to the bottom and click the "Mark Forums Read" button. BTW, this will set ALL forums to Read, not just Houston.
