Hello all!! Where to go what to eat and do

[SIZE="4"][/SIZE]I am coming to Louisiana next week and want to know where to go for good food,strong drinks,and where are the best areas to lodge?
Ill be in Baton Rouge for the first couple of days and I am not all that familiar with where to go except my fave spot for boudain,lol!I hear from a reliable source Court of 2 Sisters for breakfast food is a good go to. I'm very excited to be coming and want to have all the fun I can handle so any suggestions will be much appreciated! xoxo,Mila

So the French Quarters is a good area because there and Downtown were my guesses. Thanks for the link Im definitely gonna hit it up (OMGee had to edit Peanut Butter and bacon burgers and a Tequilla list??? How'd ya know my type of place after Mothers' for my Bread Puddin,lol!

Not sure if you like Italian or not, but if so I have to place for you in Baton Rouge. Go to Gino's. Great food and wine. Just go sit at the bar.

Gino's in BR is fantastic! I think they have specials on Tuesdays. One dish will easily feed two. They have a pretty descent wine selection as well!

Court of Two Sisters in NOLA is also a great place. The best is the Jazz brunch on Sundays! A little pricey, but well worth it!!!

The best burgars...Port Of Call in NOLA. Awesome drinks, very laid back, great atmosphere to just cut loose and have a good time. Expect a good w a i t on weekends & evenings. Go early!!!

They're are a few you should certainly avoid!!!

Do NOT just assume though if someone throws a name out there, that they actually saw the lady. A couple guys have tried to pull that one on me lately...
I think most are just trying to get their feet wet and mean no harm, but don't risk it. SCREEN! SCREEN! SCREEN! and you will be safe having FUN! FUN! FUN!

Ive actually heard about Ginos' from a client here who is from BR so that may be my 1st stop after Court of 2 Sisters. I don't think I can any longer count on one hand how many times I've walked (ok, maybe stumbled) from Pat O's right across the street to Yo Mama's. They swear the burger with peanut butter is to die for, but I just can't bring myself to it. That is the best late night drunk food I've found. And probably the best burger in the Quarter.
