Hows the weather in KC?


I am headed home today from Texas...hoping I dont encounter any bad weather.....I spent last nite in McKinney Texas under a citywide tornado warning and flashflood watch!

April showers bring may showers,hurricanes,tornadoes.. .....AND on a good note thankfully may flowers..lol!

my kids say that a tornado hit not far from springfield yesterday!

Anybody get damage from the storms?

Just wait a half hour, it will change.
Heavy rain yesterday, but supposed to be clear the next few days.

Wheaton, Mo was hit.
Church in Paola, KS lost a roof.

Do you own a smart phone? There are literally dozens of apps that provide weather details for any area of the country.

Using one of those apps would have prevented this unnecessary thread. The compulsion is real and overwhelming, isn't it?

Ok I am sorry ... I see other gals posting miscellaneous stuff so I thought it was ok.....I was just trying to get some convo going and see what happened with my KC friends........sorry if I was wrong in posting.

Storming right now in western KC, Dallas... but supposed to be drier by end of weekend... Safe travels to KC, my dear!!

Ahh Sunrise this morn just a few min ago, hidden behind the clouds though.

Yep I got home safe. Weather was actually great for my drive....my house was safe from the storm.The neighbor came over and secured everything,mowed my yard and picked up the fallen down limbs....he even filled my bird feeders! Lol
