I have been interested in visiting the area for a while now, but have been hesitant to travel to a place I have never visited. Any suggestions on a safe and convenient area to stay?

Reese, I for one, hope that you do visit. My advice is to avoid Monkhouse area for sure! Others in SBC may be able to offer more sound advice than I.

Reese... Mystique is spot on. Stay away from Monkhouse. Financial Av is ok, as are the casinos, and Boardwalk. Screen and have fun!
