It's a bit of a tough watch due to poor acting and a pretty obvious slant by the producers, but the recently released documentary called Police Protected Pimp is a solid watch for anyone who ever hobbied in CoMo. If you search the words "Police Protected Pimp" it comes up. Ive only been able to find it in a series (maybe 15?) of short vignettes on YouTube--Im not sure if it can be watched start to finish on one video, but it is all about a lifelong (alleged?) but convicted pimp in CoMo who ran a LOT of the small time establishments in town over the last 20 years, and how his relationship with Johnny Law seems to have allowed some pretty sketchy things to go down over a long period of time. It's sobering, and has some questionable interviews with several former providers currently doing time --makes me wonder if they knew their stories would end up on a documentary -- but it is also worth watching.
No political comments by me about the lawyer who clearly was involved in making it or the slant of the production. Just pointing it out to you as an interesting watch.
