Passing through

I'll be passing through Jackson soon and figured I might as well stop and visit!
Just curious about the good areas to stay in.

Jackson city proper and Hinds County where it is located have security and LE issues. Most traveling ladies will probably tell you to stay north of County Line Road in Ridgeland, or south east of the city in Pearl in the vicinity of the airport. Both areas are safe, just off of main Interstate exits, have nice accommodations and chain restaurants, and low to non-existent LE concerns if you do basic screening.
