Spontaneous hotel bar pickup?

I was reading something the other day that referenced how back in the day a traveling businessman might meet an escort having a drink at an upscale hotel bar and strike up a conversation before agreeing to go upstairs.

And it made me wonder... in the age of eccie and p411, does this still happen?

Gentlemen and ladies... any history of spontaneous meetings like that?

I always think I would love that but would certainly have the fear of LE

Although I never experienced the hobby pre-internet days. I believe it has changed. I've sat at the bar of our local tribal casino and had providers approach me.

Nope. Doesn’t happen. At least once you get old and bald. Lol. Even escorts have some sense of discretion. Some things only money can buy.

This does happen quite frequently in Vegas. I used to work closely with security at one of the big hotels and something I saw a lot of is a gentleman will be sitting at a slot machine and an escort will sit next to him and pretend to play the machine and she'll be like "hey baby, looking for a good time tonight?"

A smart gal knows how to read the crowd at a hotel bar. Leo always works in at least pairs, usually trios or more.
One of my fav stories, abbreviated, is uc leo thinking they caught a pro gal and client discussing a room visit while still at bar. Btw, there was a lawyer convention in town. Everyone see the punch line coming?
There's no law against a couple civies hitting on each other in a hotel bar.
Not only did each of the lawyers offer to be the lawyer for each other, another couple lawyers presented business cards as well, offering to be witnesses.
Leo quickly left quite chagrined.

I have been approached in La. casino's, mostly the cheaper casino's.
Security was picking them up before they could ask me for a date.
I asked security what was the problem. She said the lady was a prostitute.
I asked how she knew, she said the young lady was talking to an old man(me).
The casino's don't like the young ladies competition for money/
The more they spend on a lady, the less the man spends in the casino.



Back in Vegas, you can go to any street corner after dark and pick up a flyer for entertainment.
I have called and gotten a lady to come dance naked for me, in my room for $100/hour, nothing else.
But, what ever discussion or agreements you and the lady have is outside the dance company's agreement.

She gets half the dance money and all the "Everything else" money.

Heck where I'm staying right now . and I'v stead here a few times and seen working young girls come in dressed up like the escorts and work the bar, just last night too
I ask the bartenders about it and they said as long as they don't get to crazy they can't do much
I asked about Security and they said they don't have any .. I was like damn I love this place even more ,
and it's a upscale Hotel ..

I have been hit on in the round bar in the Hotel Monteleone, but the price was way out of my range.
