Traveling through Midland on the 22nd

I am traveling from by car from the West Coast and might stop in Midland to rest, eat and sleep on Sautrday, June 22nd. Can you anyone recommend a nice place to stay and some restaurant recommendations?

I'd suggest staying near Loop 250 and 158 or west down 191. Stay away from I 20. Plenty of places to eat in that area, Osaka is good and so is Cork and Pig near there.
